I usually like to relate my post to a travel theme that matches the quilted fabric landscape postcards I create. Today, I just want to wish everyone a Merry Christmas and Happy New Year! A Drive in the Country in Minnesota and Wisconsin

About a month ago, my husband and I made a trip to Minneapolis. We drove out into the countryside and had a wonderful day. We drove from Minneapolis to Stillwater, Minnesota and then over the St Croix River and then headed north in Wisconsin. We crossed back over the St Croix River and then headed back south to Minneapolis. It was beautiful drive with beautiful countryside. Took many pictures and stopped at the little towns on the way. The quilted landscape fabric postcard art quilt on the left is from a picutre of the barn on the left. It is one of the many barns along this route.

I've been sewing and creating new mountain post cards. More to come.
