Exercise was one of the changes I made in my life. Lack of it was one thing I feel like contributed to the heart attack. Thisis also one of the hardest things for me to do consistently.
Cardiac rehab got me started back in the exercise habit. My goal is to exercise for 150 minutes per week. My main exercise is walking. I walk fast and almost run at times. Hiking is easy and fun for me but I have to talk my husband into going with me.
I'm not saying the exercise is easy. It isn't. It's easier to procrastinate. I still struggle on how to make it less of a requirement and more fun.
